The practice of working with only what we just get enables balancing that which is arising and that which is ceasing...
Capacity and Calm
What we call the “Nothing Possibility” is always present. The Nothing Possibility refers to the possibility that whatever we can sense, know or have will not be there. This means that whatsoever we can think of, possess or even conceive can go at anytime. Such is our reality. The body goes, what arises, ceases and even what is held most dear, ends.
Facing the Nothing Possibility can be frightening but it is important to remember that even though the nothing possibility is always present, capacity can be developed and calm can always be acquired.
Capacity comes in the form of acquiring the basis of insight. Insight helps in good times and in bad, and never fails us whereas circumstances, environments, mindstates and even perception come and go. Cultivating insight equates with creating capacity, and perhaps the most enabling insight is that calm can always be acquired, no matter what might be unfolding, or ceasing.
